OUR STORY
Family Ties was created from a deep love of tradition, connection and the beauty of family. Founder, Jennifer Hobaica, created the B'nei Mitzvah Program at a synagogue in Encino, CA and spent 10 years working with 100's of students and their families, walking alongside them during one of the most meaningful milestones of their lives.
Along the way, Jennifer learned directly from the Rabbi how to tie tzitzit –discovering the beautiful symbolism and hidden meanings that are a part of every tallit. Each Family Ties ceremony is unique, yet they all share a common thread– bringing to life the true meaning of L'dor V'dor–from generation to generation.
ABOUT JENNIFER HOBAICA
Founder, Jennifer Hobaica, has always been inspired by the power of meaningful connection. In addition to creating Family Ties, she is also the founder of Olive U, a lifestyle brand dedicated to celebrating comfort, connection and timeless tradition.
Jennifer lives in Los Angeles with her husband and enjoys spending time with her 2 adult sons, and soon to be
daughter-in- law. Jennifer's sons have 3 generations of tzitzit connected within their tallit.
